for me:
for songs (mp3) and popular movies - Kazaa
for software and rare old time movies- eMule

is there something new in the P2P arena I should give a fuck about ?

I like Acquisition for finding music and seeing what content is leaking out there......

For large files and movies - BitComet
For stuff I can't find on torrents - eMule

I use Shareaza for everything, it's open source, no adware and connects to a few of the networks so you can get quite a lot of stuff, from music to videos and etc..

bit torrents are where its at :)

lime wire+ utorrent via opera

private ftp and rapidshare the only way to go nowadays. Why wait to download full movies when you can get a full movie in 9 minutes max through these metheods and a standard broadband internet connection. Of course you gotta have a solid underground hookup for the both to be able to benefit in any way, a google search for this kind of stuff just does not cut it.
