When do you start to make money
 

I have a blog for about 14 months now. My question is when do you start to make money with a blog or tgp? How many visitors you need to start living from your site?

There is money in this? Shit, I was here for the free pics...

You need more than one blog to make money! Unless you have shitloads of traffic to it!

it takes about 3-4 years

my blog make about double it's expenses with only seo traffic per month . . . been up for a 5 months . . I'll run traffic throuhg it in a few more months . . . have about 600 bookmarks too

my good man, these guys are not kidding when they say that making close to nothing in 14 months means you need to do something else.
anyway 1 blog is not enough unless you can get tons of great traffic there.

I make some bucks, but still not enough to make a living from it.

Ohh, well, it depends....some time it takes hundred of years. Think at all those painter and writers that died poor but a hundred years after they died they got famous!

eink, let me try and explain things to you.

The porn industry is like a vegetable market. It has stalls selling every vegetable imaginable.

I have a stall at that vegetable market. I offer a ton of different vegetables. You have a stall at that market, not only do you only sell peppers, you only sell the green ones. So who do you think is going to make a living off of their stall at the market? Me :)

So in other words, EXPAND. You have one blog, not only do you have one blog, on one subject, it is in German. You are limiting yourself to a very small segment of the online population. When you do that, you limit your profits. The best advice I ever got in adult was "never stop building" and I don't.

Make a second blog, an English version of your German one. When you have that going, make a third blog on a totally different subject and link them and trade links with other blogs.

Make some mainstream blogs and put google adsense on them to bring in some money. Start building and never stop :)

Well, im new to the adult bizz as well!

I have 1 MGP that is doing ok IMO. I have had 54K skimmed visitors in 2 weeks and made two sales from it. Lets say that 1 sale needs 25K uniques if you do it good.

For me, to make it a living i should make $ 30.000 yearly to start with. Lets say that every single sale gives you 15 bucks then you will have to make at least 2000-2250 sales yearly.

I just stated that 1 sale needs 25K uniques TGP/MGP traffic.
2000 sales needs: 50.000.000 unique visitors from TGP/MGP traffic yearly
2250 sales needs: 56.250.000 unique visitors from TGP/MGP traffic yearly

Is that clearly enough? yes, now you can do your math on your blog traffic :)

Oh yeah that means around 150K daily :)
