Check out www.visit-x.net if you are looking for cams. Also, check out a co-branded cam site... www.camkingdom.com

Well to start as an AAC affiliate I was never notified about this new program that I am now a member of.

Now the real problem is they are the same company offering the same exact product so its really deceptive to the consumer. What happens when people sign up then they go see AAC sign up and see the same thing they are going to chargeback.

I understand the purpose of replicating the sites but to do so in such a manner to open a whole new program is somewhat wrong in my opinion. Are we also going to get paid from 2 different places. No. We get paid from 1 so it atleast should be under the main AACash site.

The Demon 03-18-2006 10:55 AM

Nobody was notified of this new program, but yes AAC came out with it. Explain to me how it's bad business or how it affects any of you negatively?

SmokeyTheBear 03-18-2006 11:50 AM

its just a sister program i dont see the problem

If they are useing the same db it is a problem If im sending traffic to both programs im wasteing my traffic.

Surfer finds my link to adultactioncam and signups up. Later surfer find
another link to camazon on my site . They go to signup and it says you all ready have a account . So i just sent a surfer to a link were i wont get credit for.....

i understand you , but realistically if they signed up for one program , then followed a link on your page to another sponsor offering the same service , whats the likelyhood they are going to try signing up again.. if it was a pornsite i might agree but with a dating site its highly unlikely someone would signup for a dating site then turn right around and be looking for another dating program.. and even if they were and the program didnt have the same dtaabse they would be just as pissed to find out its using the same members

SmokeyTheBear 03-18-2006 12:05 PM

do you get the point im saying ? like if they were dissatisfied with aac dating program they arent likely to be satisfied with the same program anyways even if the db's were different.

Either way there are hordes of dating sites sharing the same database's already, so this already happens. you just dont know it :)

You gotta remeber too these guys also offer pay per email. So same scanrio as above. Now with it being free to signup yes i can see surfers signing up to other dating sites as well.

Head_Hunter 03-18-2006 12:13 PM

Hum http://cupidbucks.com has been around longer then http//adultactioncash.com

I remember back eary in 2003 i contacted Grant from aac to let him know my login for aac also worked for cupidbucks. With this all being said maybe all these sites are copys of cupidbucks ?

Love Sex 03-18-2006 12:47 PM

so is AAC and cupid bucks part of the same company. They both have different whois info

Love Sex 03-18-2006 12:51 PM

Really my point is I just dont like be automaticlly signed up to a program without my knowledge. If i cancel my aac account will the other one be canceled aswell.

no slickcash owns cupidbucks

SmokeyTheBear 03-18-2006 01:00 PM

there are a few programs using the same software/database , it helps in having a biggers members base thus increasing the likelyhood of signing up. I'm not sure why they would share the affiliates database though , that doesn't seem right..

SmokeyTheBear 03-18-2006 01:03 PM

if you look at most of the large dating/cam sites they usually are part of a "ring" of sites that share the same surfer/member database , this is because it would be impossible to start a dating site with no member s, why would the first person signup if theres no members to meet.. the different programs are just different interfaces into the same database of members

There are alot of things sponsors do on accident that cost afilliates money.

One of the sponsors on here had a error in the matrix and i lost about 7 k of revenue over the period from 2001-2003. So with that being said with
the number of afilliates they have they problay saved a milion dollars on not haveing to pay out. But i belive this was a accident. But to be fair when i pointed this out they compensated me so i was happy ....

Z 03-20-2006 09:06 AM

AAC licensed me their affiliate software to use for my program. I don't have their member or affiliate database.

I can't speak for them on Camazon. But I can say (and any AAC affiliate knows) that no matter what the details, they're always up-front, honest and are one of the more respected programs.
