Non-Adult Forums - PUSSY ASS FUCKER LOSERS
 

Sorry just venting... but since I opened the tutorials (www.marktiarra.com shit) I started hitting some non-adult forums for the various topics (mostly music forums) and I get involved in discussions here and there and I'll make some links to one of my lessons when I post a new one.

Now my shit is free... I have some Google ads on the pages but I don't charge anything for those Photoshop tips or music lessons. Wouldn't ya' know every one of those boards closes the thread or tells me you can't post links like that to your own sites? I'm laying up huge spam links just saying something like "check out my latest lesson, click here." I always try to be involved in other chats at those places too. It's no wonder non-adult sites almost always struggle to get by... the boneheads still haven't gotten the fact that it's cooperation over competition that creates seuccess on the net.

I can post my Photoshop tips every Sunday here and on other adult boards and people check em out and appreciate them. People in our biz are busy making money and like something offered for free now and again. The idiots running most of the non-adult forums just don't get it and it's annoying the fuck out of me right now!

Oh yeah and add to that that people outside our biz think we're immoral greedy bastards. Not a fucking one of them would know how to cooperate with similar businesses to make it better for both parties.

I wouldn't let those guys bother you, Mark. Your content is good and that's what matters. They're a little behind the game, but I'm sure there's a lot of forums out there that would like to see your stuff. Have you tried dpreview? They have a ton of photoshop discussion there, and the photographers there are always interested in learning new stuff.

Non-adult web people are kinda backwards. I can't really tolerate the overally wimpyness, stupidity and Napolean complex of most non adult boardmembers.

I've been banned from many many non adult boards. The only ones that seem to have their act together are poker forums. Everyone else are thread nazis and I end up telling them to shove their shitty boards up their ass.

Yeah the more I go around to boards the more I see that. I am pretty amazed.

Mark - the worse once are the ones on non-adult SEO forums - they are so far up their own arses is scary - they dont realise how fucking stupid they look when they delete good resource links.
