OK wondering if anyone can help me... looking for a system which automates text messages... a mate of myn said he heard of a system where you get given a mobile phone number, when soem one texts it it automates a response to the text.... also the system if it hasnt heard from a number for a while texts it saying "I aint heard from you in a while"

It's used like as if the guy/girl is having a text chat to a model... anyone heard of anything like this, or more importantly know any companies that are doing it ??? Would also like it tied in so if anyone tries actually ringing the number it will go through to a recorded message on a premium rate line...

Any one ???? Help :) Oh and should be UK based... or offer the service for in the UK...

thats a gateway, BT will get you that, set up costs here for something like that is $1500 and a monthly based on volume plus the script that needs to be programmed plus costs for the premium number rent (Im guessing itll be premium txt msgs)

BT wont do anythign close to what I need... I spoek to them already they frown upon anythign premium... and definetly do not offer the automated text...

I know there are companies definetly doing it... you get a real mobile number but when the person rings it then its directed into a hub that sends an intelligent text back to them... Japan as a system with liek virtual girlfriends... done the same way...

I have a little venture that potentially could uterlise this system and make some good money :) Just need to find a good provider in the UK... Anyone know anyone who does this, of course I will google it, but was seeing if anyone wanted to throw a name in the hat...

dont forget if you wanna use shortcodes like

sms SEX to 1200

its gonna cost a lot more, dont know what shortcodes cost there but there are options for sharing them like SEX HOTHOT 1200 where hothot is the key itll trigger to go to your application. Dont be surprised if the shortcodes are several 1000s a month.

I know the system, even more so : we had one a premium text chat, mms, logos the whole works, some 2 yrs ago, sold it.

The basic idea is the same, its pretty much over here in Holland but I know nothing bout the UK cell market, so you could give it a go.

I know a company here in Holland that supplies this and vxml too, they can program the whole idea too. Its friday otherwise id give them a call. If you want I can ask if they have premium UK nrs Im sure they do.
