seems strange they are all up in google's grill and banning peoples serps for simply "linking" to people who "might" be infringing , but when someone converts and sells the video right in the open and is recommended on gfy , and nothing happens. How come several gfy'ers had their serp's removed but guba's serp's remain ? and gfy's serp's remain .

Since we havent heard any word yet , i'm guessing this is ok with xpays ? They must have paid a fee to xpays or have some right to display the video i'm assuming..

Either they worked out a deal or xpays lawyers told them to keep there mouth shut while they handle this....

i think the fact that xPays themselves being deathly quiet in the face of this question after their rabidly vocal history of protecting their product speaks volumes..

what kind of traffic / retention , looks like they are modifying the payouts to a better rate actually.

Odd how they say 1/3 of a million new pics and videos each DAY yet there is a total of 2 million items? Do they or do they not update every day? Who does their math?

XPays, it should be noted Smokey pointed this out weeks ago when GUBA skinned this board.

Are you simply going to ask them to remove it, since they publicly state they will remove all content they don't own, that they have made money from for years, if you simply ask, or are you going to set a trend and sue the scum-sucking, no-morals company>?

What about image upload sites? Fapomatic , imagevenue, uploadhouse, imageshack (This one doesn't allow porn, but it still gets uploaded) are all doing the same kind of thing and yet I see sponsors like aff supporting them.

That's my usual mix of blog/search engine/freesite traffic. For comparison purposes, my traffic to Cybernet Entertainment (now Kink.com) converts at about 1:1200, and the worst sponsor I'll tolerate and keep sending traffic to converts at about 1:2000. GUBA is reliably my best conversion rate.

Retention is very good -- GUBA advertises an average of five months, but I think my results have been a bit better than that. (Gut sense only, I don't have the stats to prove it.) But, without a doubt, GUBA has the best rebills of any sponsor I've dealt with.

I don't have a problem with the payout rate -- their price is low, but they pay $100 percent of initial payout and close to fifty percent of rebills ($7.00 of $14.95).

$3.00 per sale you make. Not huge money, but it adds up with enough productive affiliates.

Guba has been one of my best converters for almost a year now, however, I think Guba's days are numbered. Having that rep show up here trying to police their usenet feed is a fucking joke. They pulled the Adult splash image from the main entrance and have bowed to Visa, thus yanking the best converting binaries groups. I'm gonna ride them out for as long as possible but just by looking at the leaderboard, and my stats, I can see their numbers being down half of last year based on affiliate sales, IMO. Coming in here with advertising and shit.. well.. they screwed themselves. Not like it was any big secret, just think they got cocky... was bound to happen.

Won't it just show up again tomorrow or next week, like it did this time? Won't he have to keep repeating the removal requests and searching for his content on a regular basis? If he doesn't mind doing that, then I guess it's not an issue. I'm surprised so many sponsors allow you to get away with that.

unfortunately, that's the way DMCA goes.. the content provider has to do the policing.. and the DMCA policy has to be acted upon by websites like Guba.. "in a reasonable period of time'.. as DMCA says.
