even though I picked the Leafs, watching Tucker and Corson act like whiny bitches (not to mention cheap shot artists) has me rooting for the Isles. I haven't done that since Potvin retired.

Corson and Roberts were always my top left wings I'd have loved to see skating for my favorite team. After watching game 5, I'd have to say Corson has changed. He looked like a guy who cracked under the pressure, and not a tough, savvy veteran. Kicking at that kid was as bush league as the time Tocchet showed his true colors and gouged that other guys eyes in a fight(Gord Dineen? - at any rate, some young Isles defensman years ago)

Tucker sucks it hard. He's as big a cheap shot artist as Dale Hunter and Darius Kasparitis.

Steve it's a heated series for sure and even though I REALLY want to see the Leafs win I didn't like to see what happened to Peaca a valuable Canadian player.. What Corson did was also out of line but, the head but from Carnis wasn't the most sportsman like mover either...

Anyway may the best team win :thumbsup

Martin, I honestly did not see Cairns use a head butt. None of the announcers on ESPN mentioned it, so it must have been missed (as they cut back and forth between the other scuffle). If he did that, he should be fined/suspended as well. I'm all for playing tough, physical hockey, but I don't think they need to go out of their way to injure another player.

It goes on every year, and we can all list a bunch of questionable incidents from the past few years. I'm just surprised to see a guy like Corson lose control. It wasn't just the kick, I'm basically saying he played like a jerk. I mean, these are the Islanders, not known as a very tough team. What will he do if the Leafs make it to the Finals and he plays a tough team like Colorado? Is he going to cry?

As far as Pecca goes, I have to say it's just KArma. How many times did Kasparitus do the VERY same move, while wearing an Isles jersey? So, yeah, it sucks Pecca got hurt. But, he happens to play for an organization that allowed a cheap shot artist to do as he pleased for years.
