I'm just wondering how many of you who are photographers/producers whatever (the dudes who work with the girls) bang them off camera? Is this a taboo or a norm? Or do you just save the banging for in front of the camera not wanting to miss any of the action??

id say it should be avoided but I know Dugmor for one would disagree lol

Let's be honest and say that some girls do see it as a way of getting into a shooters good books and will fuck him to get more work. What they don't realise is the enormous costs we have for shooting and unless she sells we don't shoot her. However having consenting sex with a model brings you closer. She is looking into the lens of a guy/girl she is fucking.

Girls get horny when they are doing this work, turning them down can be a big put down and has to be done carefully.

The image that we force girls into having sex with us to get the work is stupid and shows how little those who believe it know about this business and shooting. Force a girl to have sex with you and you have an enemy, she will not look so good on camera. Her work will simply not sell as well. You also fucked her so she has to do less to justify getting the work done.

You will also get a very bad reputation and will lose out on models, bad news travels.

The truth is most good shooters have a personality/character girls like and sleeping with some of them is no problem.

I agree with a lot of what Paul says and it can be difficult at times...
Personally i like to keep business and pleasure as seperate issues, this may make me a bit boring but i always focus on the work and if i want to have some fun then this can be done elsewhere.

Having said that the one important point that Paul mentioned is that your reputation is everything and can cause problems when trying to book girls if you have a bad one..

Most of my friends have this crazy idea that:

1. I have the best job in the world..
2. I bang everything i shoot
3. The girls are easy because of the work they do.

All of the above is not true, well maybe number 1 is not too far out LOL, but seriously I approach the work in a professional manner and treat the girls with the same respect.

Almost all of the girls are not "easy" and are there to do a job..

I have a good laugh with the girls when doing the work and try to get the best out of them by making them feel relaxed and comfortable.

Anyway i guess i have rambled on for too long now and everyone reading this thread is now in a coma..

I've never banged one of my models - I'm proud to say. Not because I haven't wanted to or because they weren't interested....but because I didn't get into photography to get chicks and I never want to give that impression to any model that I work with. These girls get hit on every day by photographers trying to get into their pants so they have genuine respect for me (and my work) when they figure out that I'm not one of those kinds of guys. I don't look down on those shooters who do bang their models though - it's just not my thang'.

Any shooter that shoots a girl because she will fuck him is going to go broke very fast. We shoot them because we make money from them and that is not easy in a saturated market.

Hell I've just gotten into the solo girl site biz and I've already had ops to fuck and I won't do it. Strictly business and I won't end up on some girls "You owe me" list because she gave it up one day.

If I were to fuck my models, I'd only be setting myself up for a short lived business.

I agree with Prague, and Mark. I've never done it either. I think that it is unethical, and unprofessional for starters.

But the biggest reason is your reputation. If you fuck over some girl, she will run her mouth, and ruin your reputation making it hard to get more girls later. So it's not worth it when you do this full time. Especially if you are in a smaller town.

Years ago not only did I bang the models I shot, as well as doing POV stuff, I ended up dating quite a few of them as well, all ended badly, Then I came to the conclusion no more fucking the models, then I got into the toon market, and now... well you'll see soon enough ;)

ITs real simple. A lot of models get worked up while shooting for a day. I also think that models work with older men and/or not attractive photographers, so they aren't interested. When they shoot with a 30 year old good looking guy, things change. I never hit on the models because I do want to keep a professional attitude and not make them feel uncomfortable. But you must remember, we are in the porn business, not sports illustrated. If she hits on me at all ... .then its on.

I know this for a face since I have shot some models that shot with other photographers and nothing happened but when I shot them, they were the ones hitting on me and some can get aggresive .. I like that. And yes, I've actually even said no as well.

Just remember what biz you are in. This is porn ... porn is sex. Our jobs work around sex all day every day. I don't know why so many people bitch and complain about photographers hooking up with the models. These girls made a choice to shoot adult .. I think they have the right to chose whether they want to hook up with the photographer or not.

Its too bad the models never want to bang the video editors :( sigh....

i think its very unprofessional for photographers to have sex with their talent.

Personally I dont think its totally unprofessional, sometimes things just happen and if its consenting, well, its just one of those things.

There are enough people that fuck at the office etc, so this shouldnt be any different, at least you dont have to see each other every day after.

Unprofessional applies to those that pursue (using the the situation and enviroment to their advantage) every single model they shoot - to be honest though i doubt these guys are proper photogs, more likely GWC's who snap to get action.

I fuck some, models after shooting, but basically was not present. Right now I have a girlfriend and I want that she trusted me, therefore to me now not up to models!
