To my fellow Irishmen,
What's the difference between an Irish wedding and an Irish wake? One less drunken Irishman. I miss Shamrock shakes. :( |
Happy St Patrick's Day To EVERYONE!!!!

God made Irish people the smartest people in the world! (Then he invented whiskey)
Heard that on the radio this morning. :D |

Happy st Patty's day to all you green underware wearing mother fuckers, and have a few extra beers.
|
Know what's funny? Irish people don't even celebrate St Patrick's Day - it's totally a north american thing. Not that that keeps me away from the green beer, mind you........

Oh and im very aware that Ireland doesnt celebrate (or didnt up until about 10 years ago) "St. Paddy's/St.Patty's" the way we do in the states...but really the first American St. Patrick?s Day celebration was in Boston in 1737...the custom was started by the Charitable Irish Society of Boston (a Protestant organization founded that year to help needy Irishmen)...and up until 1996 (when Dublin launched its first annual festival) St. Patrick's Day festivities in Ireland ranged from very small to nonexistent... so once again...Happy St. Patrick's Day...Happy St. Paddy's Day...and Happy St. Patty's Day...now go drink a couple of beers and a few shots of whiskey... |
