What's the best TGP software?
 

i've checked out brownie and vanilla - both are really nice packages. specifically searching for apps that run on server clusters and have been proven to handle big traffic. anything else out there i should look at?

From a cost/benefit perspective probably autogallery SQL

smart thumbs, thumb manager, and tgp rotator is my favs

It depends on what you need exactly and plan to do.

specking out a no-submission text tgp that will run on a server cluster. its gotta be able to handle mad traffic.

Smartthumbs is the best script available.. there are huge sites running it. some more than 900K!

Why do you need a tgp script then ?
I can understand you could use it to manage the links and such
but your pages should be generated so that it doesn't go
through a script, I see no point to that.
Case in which you can use whatever tgp script you like
generate static pages on a server and share them in the cluster.

I love brownie, I know that a few big players use it, pinkworld and worldsex both use it. Many others. But those two are the reason why I went with it. They have a server license, so you can run many tgps off one modded script, one admin page one gallery data base. They can handle tons of traffic. Perfect examples are worldsex and pinkworld. Those two are huge. I think worldsex is the second largest text tgp out there. Pinkworld has to be in the top 10.

It's fast and easy to use. I have tried out autogallery, nice but they are missing some options. It's allso way cheaper. Comus. Good script but confusing at first. Never tried using it for text tgps tho. But great for thumbnail tgps.

Thinking about trying vanilla. Allot of friends have suggested it. But as of right now, brownie and tm3 or ucj are my favorite combo.

Been using autogallery sql. Its pretty simple and easy, but lately it crashes on me while trying to build the pages.

Comus can handle your traffic load no problem, text or thumbs, has more options than any other script!
Template driven, easy interface with trade scripts, no matter what need you have, comus has it covered

unless your going to be pushing 1 mil + a day in traffic there is no need to cluster a text tgp.
