Fresh dirt

Raven 03-16-2006 12:52 PM

Diluted hydrogen peroxide to cleanse and triple antibiotic ointment to heal.

Keep bandaids off if you can, so it can breathe.

Quagmire 03-16-2006 12:52 PM

Cow urine. Saved Russell Crowe's ass in Gladiator, yo.

pornguy 03-16-2006 12:53 PM

Got to go with the neosporin. and if it is open like a knife cut, then get some superglue, and close. it.

Oh year. Wd40 works well also.

bjjb 03-16-2006 12:55 PM

Time....

Wounds don't heal if you're diabetic. It has to do with the poor circulation. You have to go into a hyperbolic chamber for days, and even then it's iffy. Open sores and missing limbs - they eventually happen to most diabetics over time.

bdld 03-16-2006 01:56 PM

neosporin does the trick. just make the wound's clean first before applying.

wdsguy 03-16-2006 01:58 PM

Alot of folks are allergic to neosporin so its not always good. Clean it with hydero peroxide and you can keep it covered for a couple days but let me breathe afterwards.

Cyndalie 03-16-2006 01:59 PM

Neosporin, accept no substitues, generic brands or "triple ointments"
Keep it clean and let it breathe periodically.

laura99 03-16-2006 02:01 PM

Once it's no longer a scab, use cocoa butter for the scar. Cocoa butter has taken away all of my scars but you have to use it everyday for a long time to get it to work.

Ordo 03-16-2006 02:01 PM

Bleach will prevent scabs and scarring.

:1orglaugh

tristan_D 03-16-2006 07:21 PM

try disinfecting it using vodka

BV 03-16-2006 07:29 PM

I've heard preparation h works good for cuts, never tried it though
neosporin works good for me if i have a bad cut
I've also tried the liquid from a vitamin e pill for a burn as well as wd-40 lubricant
I've heard too much hydrogen peroxide is bad,

most of the time i do nothing

Triple antibiotic ointment is superior to neosporin because it is triple. It contains the ingredients of neosporin in it, along with other antibacterials.
