A History of Violence
So, I rented this last night. Pretty good movie, but kinda slow developing. Pretty graphic in some scenes. Maria Bello is just smoking hot though, especially in the "Hate Sex" stair scene.....I'd love to have some hate sex with her. :thumbsup

I havent seen it yet, but wanted too, just been to lazy to go grab it... liked the previews Ive seen about it so far. Slow developping but when it gets going is it "going" or does it slow out again? I hate movies that are slow.. get to a good roll & then slow again & have to re-develop.. total suckage :/

that is quite possibly the worst movie ever made, looked like is was directed by a trained monkey...

Whether or not you thought the movie was good it's just shows your judgement to be non existant to say it's the worst movie ever made. |
I loved it, thought it was excellent, very underrated.

Both....kinda wrapped all up in one little scene. :thumbsup |
I hated it
|
Heck, if it has a couple of explicit sex scenes in it, it can't be all that bad! LOL

Oh it does. :thumbsup And I've offered the date thing with you time after time...:1orglaugh |
isn't Maria Bello the original Mrs. Smith in the TV version? I think Scott Bakila was Mr. Smith
|
she's in the horror movie The Dark with Sean Bean
|
this movie is a horrible movie. i would agree with the trained monkey comment. its totally unbelievable on absolutely every level.

This movie is based on the graphic novel by John Wagner and Vince Locke. It tells the story of Tom Stall, who is a loving family man and well-respected citizen of a small Indiana town. But when two savage criminals show up at his diner, Tom is forced to take action and thwart the robbery attempt. Suddenly heralded as a hero who took the courage to stand up to crime, people look up to Tom as a man of high moral regard. But all that media attention has the likes of mobsters showing up at his doorstep, charging that Tom is someone else they've been looking for. Is it a case of mistaken identity or does Tom have a history that no one knows about? Either way, someone's about to find out if there's a history of violence.
This movie stars Viggo Mortensen. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0399146/plotsummary |

yea, I enjoyed it :thumbsup

Viggo Mortensen in a different role apart from LOTR Aragorn
|
My girlfriend brought it home tonight. Figure we'll pop some corn up and make a romantic evening of it this weekend. :1orglaugh

its good but felt very cheap and low budget, it had an almost made for tv quality about it. Some very graphic kill scenes though, they did a great job with the gore. I just wasnt entirely convinced by it. Shame cos Vigo is a great actor it could have been a lot better. The scene where he fights with his wife then fucks her on the stairs is hot though. That was up there with the sex scenes from 8mile and matrix reloaded for raw lust and believability. Good shit considering you couldnt see fuck all lol.

|
