Which Thumbs Maker is best for adding descriptions
 

Is there a thumbs program that makes it easy to add descriptions for each phone without editing the html?

Here's why I need help.

This is not for an adult site but for a friend who is taking a college class
and has to make photo albums and each picture has to have a description
of what the photo is - i.e.., location, date, camera settings etc..

Making thumbs and generating the HTML pages is easy but editing each pic is a bitch when there's hundreds of them.

With the descriptions are you meaning writting captions for each photo?
If so then maybe picasa.google.com could be useful.
