How Do You Pay Your Models

My question for the day today is how do you pay your models. I know everyone has a different system and a lot of the time it is different for each model, but I am curious as to all the possible methods. Alot of people pay the models for the shoots, and then just sell the content later, some make them partners and give the a percent of the revenue, and a mixture of both it seems sometimes. I am just curious to find out what everyone else does. I see a lot of webmasters on here have shot NN content for their sites as well.

I am not very familiar with Non-Nude at all. I have got the hardcore shoots down pat, but teen and softcore is still something I am a beginner with. I know non-nude will never bring the same $$ as other sites will, but I know if you do it right, it could be worth the time. What do models get paid for NN, I mean, it can't be the same as a nude shoot....? And also, how does a NN model do a 1 hour cam show...? Does she just "do it" out of frame ?

Non Nude Shoots ...... How Many Pics? Vids? What's the norm ? And in the end, how much does this model get paid for this ?

I hope this isn't too confusing of a thread...I know I jumped around a little bit.

I have to pay my newest models in goats, cows, wheat and barley.

Serves me right for shooting in Afghanistan.

How long is a piece of string ? Logic should dictate that there is no union rate applicable.

Depends on MANY variables....

Quality of model

What they are to do ? (handjobs are FAR cheaper than double anal fisting)

How long you have them for ?

What other arrangements are in place ?

Take those as w, x, y, z and then have "a" as your ability to negotiate to a sum that is "a" less than what you are prepared to pay (value is a perception from the perspective of the BUYER remember) and a formula something like this evolves...

Porn Shoot Hourly Rate = (w + x + y + z) - a

No 2 shoots are the same as are no 2 pieces of talent or any 2 producers.

Your question is far too esoteric.

I deal with the LA modelling agencies. Have the models fill out w-9 forms and provide 2 forms of Id's plus model release form. Pay them via corporate check. You'll have to 1099 them at the end of the year when you do your taxes, and 1099's need to be in the individual's hands by the end of January. Kind of sucks, but get an accountant and he'll get you on the right path.

Follow up to my post - BJ - $300 - B/G - $900 to $1100 - Usually when I hire the talent, I have the model to a POV BJ scene, a B/G scene to swallow or creampie and a solo dildo scene. I usually can get professional female talent for around $1100 to $1200 for all three scenes. The male talent costs anywhere from $150 for the BJ scene to $300-$600 for the B/G scene. I've noticed that for the POV BJ scenes - you can get any old male model to do the scene. But if you're filming Boy/Girl - it's worth paying the extra bucks for a stud who has no inhibitions.

Did you forget where you are posting?

Most people here can't be bothered with reading anything more than the thread title before shoving both feet squarely in their mouths. If you want replies to the content of your post, you're better off opening a new thread titled 'How much do you pay your NN models?'

I used to shoot a lot of non-nude and nude amateur-style stuff. I can tell you a bit about how I managed it.

First off, I was working with a lot of first-timer models, so the first shoot involved some training along with the shoot, so I would pay them $30 per hour. If they shot with me for 3 hours and did well I would round it up to $100 bucks for them (whoo-hoo!) for non-nude. Any work they did with me after that was $50 per hour for non-nude.

For nude (just modelling, posing, nothing too sexual) it was $50 per hour fir the first shoot and $100/hr for subsequent shoots. Again, it's not huge money but the work isn't all that tough either, just straight modelling.

The shoot -- Usually 3 to 4 hours, the model would bring all her own clothes, about 5 or 6 complete outfits. I would have her fully clothed to start, and throught the set she would slowly take off articles of clothing either down to her bra & panties or just panties or all the way to full nude. A typical set was around 50 shots give or take. The shoot, as said earlier usually 3 to 4 hours, would consist of 5 to 6 sets for a total of around 300 photos.

Payment - I would pay the girls cash and have them sign a reciept. Getting paid in cash was sort of a nice perk the girls all appreciated. HOwever, had I been doing the type of work that required larger payouts like in the $1000+ ranges I would have, like others have said, paid them by company cheque.

now that is a great reply man...thanks....

but one question....when you say that you would shoot 50 pics, does that mean that 50 pics would hit your site? Or like 35-40. I know that when I shoot anything that about 10% get trashed when I dump the pics to the computer. Either the girl is blinking, body looks weird, shadows are messed up, blurry, or any of the other million things that can wrong. So usually when I am aiming for 50 pics, i try to shoot around 65-70 to be safe.

The dollar amount to pay models is going to vary widely. Where are you? Podunk Arkansas models who's only option for work is wal-mart are going to be more motivated to work at a lower rate than say a gal in Miami Beach where there are a lot more modeling gigs. Also, what is she going to be doing? I can tell you that as the number of items being inserted, size of objects inserted increases, so does the fee....and this same thing applies to where such insertion is going to be!

As for how many pics to shoot, that is up to you. Shooting overage is a fantastic way to make sure that those half-closed-eye pictures can get tossed and you still have a set. Imporving your ratio of good images will come with time, both in using your equipment and in working with each individual. You will find that model #1 doesn't look so great when you shoot her from a certain angle. Guess what...stop shooting that angle and the number of good images increases!

Now, since you specifiacally asked about non-nude rates, you'll have to answer this; How non-nude is it? There is also a difference in how much you will have to pay for a girl to model lingerie than a girl to model lingerie and spread her legs open suggestively. Even though the shots are both non-nude, she has to go home and explain to her mother that they are not porn. for her to explain the spread legs (even though clothed) is going to be a tougher job for her, so you'll pay more.

Heck, if you're just shooting non nude stuff like glamour lingerie, there's no shortage of girls that would work for $20 an hour. Trust me, make them an offer... Oh sure, sometimes they will be busy with the GWC that is paying them $100 an hour to shoot them in their silk panties...but those guys run out soon enough, since they are just paying them to get their own experience.

but throw an exposed nipple in the mix and those fees are going to start to climb!
