I think they should've sentenced him for life in prison, death is too good for him.

I would, and If they bring back the death penalty here in South Africa I'd 'donate' 1 hour every day of my time to executing pieces of shit, and no, I'm not trying to look tough, it's simply how I feel.

Here're only two of the high profiile cases here in the past couple of months:

a 6 months baby was stabbed to death (contract killing ordered by the baby's father exgirlfriend)

a 4 year old girl was killed by three robbers, they killed her after gangraping the domestic worker

yeah, its a hell of a symbol though. In the big picture, we all want our lives to mean something and to be remembered well. I think thats a fine way of saying...."fuck you dude. you're a piece of shit not worthy to exist amongst the rest of us and that is how you will be remembered." I like it. Life in prison, though painful, just doesn't pull the same weight in my opinion.
