Trying to avoid VAT?

I am paying in euro's (more expensive) for the same clicks and get charged a crazy 19% extra on top. An american account will be way cheaper for me.

I CAN claim the vat back but for non public reasons i'd simply like to have an US account. Its cheaper and easier for me.

Yeah plus 5 euro cts per click is more than 5 dollar cents. It doesnt sound like much but if youre spending a lot its quickly becomes much.

I've been thinking of doing the same. apart from taking the course you have, wouldn't know how to set it up directly, and aren't sure whether google allows/wants europeans to have US accounts. plus I would need to get a US card too. oh well, some things to think about

My account is still in USD i have no problem using it as a european. i even typed in my VAT number. Still running.

Well, in my account everything is euro's. No clue why other europeans can use dollar accounts.
