Why do gays talk that way
 

There's a program on C4 about gay sex. The wife is watching it (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it).
A guy on there is talking about cottaging and has a very 'gay' voice. I've always wondered why so many gay guys feel the need to talk like that? Maybe it's a cultural thing or somesuch.
