new paypal scam, heads up
so I get an email, that says I paid 33 bucks for a dress on ebay?
WTF? Okay, it was my size (LOL) but not my color, fer goodness sakes... JK anyway, the email, which looks a lot like paypal has this extra button, that says, "if you did not approve this transaction"... Paypal don't do that I click it, and it wants, my username/pass... Hmm, paypal always knows my username... Open up my paypal account, and no transaction listed/pending etc... Funny thing is the paypal account says KYU.ED anywho, heads up peeps! JG |
lol :)
and did you put there your account/pass combination? Egomancer |
Yeah, this scam has been going around for quite some time. I just send it to spoof at paypal and delete it. Hope you didn't give your info.

oh yeah, right, I just jumped in to give them my user/pass, and pin number... But wait... It's worse than that http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5463449455 the freakin dress is just gaudy... Where the fuck could I wear that... Not that I'd ever wear a dress, but if I was, I'd want a pretty one, ROTFLMAO.... Fucking stealing scammers... |
I don't buy my dresses from ebay (they never have my size):(

What is your size?
The hell if I know, I know what size Marine Corps Combat boots I wear... But dresses I'm a little fuzzy on... Now if teen Lia, was to offer to share a dressing room with me, and we could help each other try them on, why I'd be happy to try on dresses all day long.... "Oh here dear, let me adjust your boobs.." LOL |
I average about 3-4 paypal spoofs a week usually.
It'd be interestin' to know what percentage of people actually get duped by them. |
probably v. v. high
|
if you DID fill in username/pass your screwed :()
