Ok never messed with mysql before right, I got a new server andtrying to find out weather or nawt mysql is installed anyone know how to find this out and how to install it if its not? Thank you btw its redhat linux is the os

you need to get partition magic and create a dos partition

this is for a script im trying to install and it tells me to do this

so I root up
[root /home]# mysql> create database phpLinks2
sh: mysql: command not found

im not looking for someone to hand walk me or anything but if anyone can help it would be kewl of ya :)

means it isn't. Otherwise it means Spacedog is now living in my server.

whereis spacedog

2 hours?? That's it???

give up now, or plan to spend a whole lot more than 2 hours on it.
