is this skin in arabic?

seriously, who can possibly read this shit?

dodger21 03-13-2006 04:22 PM

What the fuck does that say???

Who looked at that and said "whoah, thats a cool logo!!!"?

Although, this is the best colour scheme I've seen on GFY in ages!!

DaLord 03-13-2006 04:23 PM

Not sure. I've tried reading it both upside down, right right to left and blindfolded. Nothing works for me.

Mickey_ 03-13-2006 04:23 PM

Take your time and examine the logo. You'll be able to read it.
You'll find a bigger version HERE

RayBonga 03-13-2006 04:26 PM

Live sex awards, looks real strange at start but try focusing for awhile.

it's not quite as entertaining as looking at a train wreck, so most people probably aren't going to spend much time on it :2 cents:

Sort of the opposite of the usual idea behind a logo. :winkwink:

Spunky 03-13-2006 06:18 PM

tristan_D 03-13-2006 06:19 PM

OK, OK, i see there's a bit of misunderstanding here.
The logo is not Arabic...but the following numbers ARE Arabic numerals:

100,000
Any questions?

TDF 03-13-2006 06:41 PM

juicy can translate it

Actually i liked the idea through the eye of the desinger when i saw the logo the first time and i still think Thomas did a great job on the design. So the thing is... this needs a bit of background knowledge. The logo is an ambigram (google the latin words "ambi" and "gram" ...will surely make more sense.)
So it's supposed to read the same upside down (which it does imho).
Examples of omnigrams at davidh-n.blogspot.com
