This is a REALLY bad idea. GUBA times 4. There's no amount of self policing you will be able to do to keep copyrighted works off your network if it gets popular.

If Google can't do it effectively, and YouTube can't, what makes you think you can?

Cut your losses and go mainstream while you can. XTube may be a cool mainstream name if you used it for that.

Our terms of use are strict and clearly hold the user responsible for all their uploads. It is obvious that there will be someone to violate that and we will use a combination of XTube teamwork and the help of the XTube community to police that. We have no intention to take away from content producers or affiliate programs.

We are trying to fill in a gap we think exists in reality porn, specifically the reality part. We knew that if we put out a site that only enlisted the public's content that webmasters and content creators would want to participate, so we jumped ahead to include features for them to promote themselves.

This is not a free site. This BETA version has been released free for testing only. As people get used to it and decide they like it we will introduce the payment system that everyone will have to participate in.

In case there are any misunderstandings, Content Providers will be able to create Channels for their content that the XTube community will have to pay to view. XTube shares only a small portion of those fees.

Webmasters include their linking codes to the affiliate who provided them with the promotional content. Webmasters already know the rules of this game and are not likely to use content that was not already approved by the affiliate because that would adversely effect them.

Members who upload copyrighted or illegal content will be dealt with accordingly.

Lots of the comments on here are totally valid. This is a different idea and we expect to have to deal with some crap in the process of making it all work out in the end.
