whats the best billing processor
 

for mainstream sites? less fees than paypal/visa/mastercard/etc etc. what would you recommend? thanks

No merchant account is ever less than about 1.6% for a swipe terminal

Is that their fee alone or their fee not including the visa/mc/amex fees?

sorry I should say 1.* level, depending on what you process.. it will fluctuate..

there is also a 35 cent fee I think depending on how you have it setup and the average ticket price..

go with authorize.net/your local bank.

Outside of the box and the USA ....

VEROTEL for credit cards, checks, European direct debit and SMS and MY VIRTUAL CARD for credit cards.

PasswordByPhone for non credit card countries.

A nice mix and ALL NATS and MPA3 compliant.
