The Hills Have Eyes---Qwick Review, No Spoilers

Saw this movie, "The Hills Have Eyes," yesterday, and was pleasantly very surprised and entertained. One of the best horror movies I've seen in quite awhile. Simply blows out more mediocre movies like "Hostel" out of the water. "Hills" develops its characters well, the story arc is believable, and it gets into shocking and disturbing territory in a stylistic fashion. Alexandre Aja directed this, and did a really good job. This film-maker knows what he is doing by building the tension, having his characters react in a believable fashion, and in many ways, it takes no prisoners. Its precisely what a shocking and disturbing horror movie should be.

Money and time well spent.

:thumbsup

User rating of 82%......thats high for a horror movie

Of course, almost ALL horror movies have a low critic rating.

Was ok....Left opening for a sequel.

Decent gore.DVD extras should be good.

I am not really a big fan of horror films but I somehow find The Hills Have Eyes quite entertaining. If you are looking for geniune high creep factor on a horror film then you may try watching this one. :)
