I am sorry you are having a hard time. But to come to the board is somewhat risky. I worked in Mental Health for awhile. So take some constructive advice, look up your local crisis line number. If you are "going off the deep end" you need to talk to someone that will help you figure things out.

Life can be tough, but I LOVE it so much, I have fear of dying :)
I am only 30, but all the ppl who are dying scare the crap out of me. Take the 3 or 4 ppl that died the past year on this board. Like Geoff, gotta feel sorry for those ppl, and their families.

Dude, if you are that depressed, try to think about ppl you knew and who are dead, I know some ppl who took their own life and that is not funny, especially since YOU know it will ALWAYS turn out better later on in life. It is like everything else, high roads and low roads. Economy, business, life, even the weather is like that!

Never give up. I always say, if you REALLY think you had it. Move out from where you live and start a whole NEW life, meet new ppl, get a new job etcetera. Reborn if you will. Nobody said growing up is easy, it is like that, you have to try everything again, except the talking/walking thing :)

Then again, Lanie might be right :) I heard anti-depression drugs can do wonders. You might even enjoy life!

i'll move to Hawaii and you can move here to the prairies in Canada

it might take you a while to get used to the temperatures and the annoying gophers, but i'm sure it will give you a fresh perspective

i of course will have to deal with the trauma of moving to a tropical island, with the best surf, buds, babes and parties in the world - but i think i can cope
