I have no clue who 6TGP.COM is as I stopped tgping heavilly like 3 years ago.

Spam (UCE) is when you get emailed by someone you have no affiliation with.

As long as you do it responsibly. Email those you know, submit to your sites, are registered with your sites, etc..

Look at it this way, the more we grow, the more prizes we can give out so the better your odds of winning.

well maybe he changed his script, I now have a script that send emails to my submitters, If they don't like the email, they dont have to submit, God Knows, I have more fucking submissions than I know what to do with.

Well I do not condone spamming but also I am not the kiddie police.

I have my own companies to run and can't look into what every webmaster is doing.

If you are doing business with this guy in any way (submitting, trading, etc) then it is not a UCE if he emails you. He does not need you to check a little box thingie.

However, if someone bought a list and emailed, that is a UCE and looked down upon.

So email those you do business with, just don't bulk email people because it is not professional and we are running a good thing here.

I sure hope the 600+ tgps, the 150+ link sites, the avs sites and every one else I do business with doesn't start sending me spam everyday.

Just forward them to abuse@your_isp.com
and abuse@their_isp and hosting company.
(I usually do this before I've had a couple cups
of coffee)

Or just hit delete, which is what I usually do unless
someone just becomes overly annoying with it.

I run tgp's and link sites and I never send anything
other than a confirmation of being listed if they asked
to be by "checking the box"

You tgp owners that send emails to your submitters are assholes. I get this email all the time and I haven't submitted to this guy since my Russian submitter days which are long gone. If he wants to send out a reply to a submission and slip in a link to something, that is one thing.... but these people that keep my email addy and send out some stupid email every other day telling me about some great sponsor or asking for more galleries are just annoying. If you need to rely on this approach to get business then you need help.
