Having worked closely with Chris I always gave Epassporte the benefit of the doubt...

I made this thread: http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?p=9436823 after they sent me a notice saying I had $5000 time to send some documentation. I sent it two times and even talked to Keyser about it.

Today my account is locked... I talked to Keyser and sent the info twice and my account is locked. WTF?

It should be balance.

Now imagine your domains are all set to expire/rebill today , and your hosting.and googe adwords are also billing through epassporte.

You would have to spend HOURS and HOURS fixing shit and thats IF you could.. Some hosting companies will shut you off if the rebill doesnt go through that means downtime, lack of being able to fund google adwords will cause your campaigns to pause etc etc .

the horror stories just never end.

Epassporte is a great feature, only its run by idiots that send out people who are too busy making super duper contests on here. :1orglaugh

This happened to me as well (my account froze cause it reached the limit) I told Keyser about my issue , he replied back once and never heard back from him again .
Check your internal email when you login and contact i think this is the email

I sent them the info twice... Monday and Friday morning. Friday I sent it just to make sure they received it since I didn't get any reply from them.

Are you ok if your account balance never goes above $4,999.99?

What sucks is I was just about to move $2K into one of my other accounts just incase they did this... I swear we all have the ability to know what is coming next... We just don't always act on it.

It isn't $5,000... it is something under it... My account never went over $4,800.. I'd always put it in my bank before.

corporate accounts with 10K to 10mil - hours of service: 6am to 6pm monday-friday

personal accounts with $5 - hours of service: 24hours / 7 days / 365

Your documents have been verified and your account is unblocked.
When you sent in the docs yesterday the person I forwarded the request to had left for the day. When I saw this thread I forwarded it to someone else.
I don't know why the docs you sent on Monday weren't processed.

They have one in canada too. try to spend a 1000 bill somewhere and they record your id and such, or ty to get a $5000 money order . they have to report info to the gov when that happens.

Are you sure its $5k? I was always told its $10k. Maybe $5k is for online transactions only. I make deposits larger than $5k with no reporting, but I always stay under $10k. I don't know if it even matters, but its probably less hassle.

Yeah, it is $10K. Any transaction (cash or otherwise) is reported.

And, Canada did away with the $1000 bill about 3-4 years ago, altho' there still might be some in circulation.

Here is what I suggest about how to view the Epassporte service -- think of it as a "convenience" service rather than a "mission critical" one... instead of having to physically go to the bank and deposit checks, epassporte allows you to receive your payments online and transfer $$$ to your bank or get cash.

But dont trust epassporte with your mission critical items: domain names, servers/hosting, groceries, spending money while your on vacation, or any other purchase that needs 100% reliability that it gets done on a certain date. Epassporte is a great service that is clearly having growing pains but as long as you follow my above advice you should be fine.:2 cents:

oh and dont leave too high a balance in your account, you never know, one day we may all wake up to the announcement that epassporte got shut down :( anyone remember AdultCheck? :(

nope despite what some people may tell you , ITS 5K , but dont take my word , just go to a check cashing place ( or anywhere ) and try to get a money order for 5k with no i.d. . aint gonna happen
