just had some dinner - asked for diet coke - she brings me what is diet pepsi
i call her on it - she says its the same thing
not even fucking close in taste - diet pepsi tastes like a fucking chemical stew

so what drink water instead. much better :) but yea back when i use to drink sodas and all that crap its deff not the same

i usually do drink bottled water - i used to be a cola junkie but now maybe 1 time per week maximum... better make that 1 time per month

Regular soft drinks in the US are loaded with high fructose corn sweetener, not to be confused with sugar or regular corn syrup, that stuff is evil. Your body does not recognize it as a sugar and does not produce insulin to deal with it so it packs on pounds. if you insisit on drink soft drinks read the label, as bad a diet sweeteners might be, an unknown, high fructose corn syrup is worse.

anyway... the sugar that's not in these diet stuff is replaced with artificicial crap and so, to me, it always taste like it....

Yes, that might not make a big difference on somebody consuming 8000 calories, 200 grams of fat with a weight of 500 pounds. However, for somebody 20 pounds over weight, it can make a big difference.

For instance, somebody drinking a litre of coke a day is taking in what 750 calories or so? If you replace that with diet coke you just stripped out 750 calories a day from your diet.

Now all we have to do is find a study that shows how the body reacts when diet coke is swapped for water, organic juice or something not specifically made to make a person addicted, such as soda or diet soda.

No I don't. All I have to show is that stripping 750 calories from your daily intake will reduce your weight.

I'm not suggesting that drinking diet cola is better than water or natural juice. I'm just saying that if you're going to drink soda, drinking soda with significantly less calories is going to make a difference.

And the worst part is that anyone is a stupid enough of a fuck to pay for water in a bottle - what a rip but I guess dropping those dollars makes people feel like theyve got more class or status - and dont tell me how "pure" it is - running tap water through a coffee filter would be purer than anything you buy in those bottles and at least the tap water has a few of the minerals you really need in your body every day
