Is the new Doctor Who shown anywhere in the States?

My mom is a fan and hasn't seen any of the new version of Dr. Who. I may end up buying her the dvd boxset from over here so she can see it but if would be nice if she could just watch it on tv. She says she hasn't seen it listed on BBC America.

She was upset enough when they took Eastenders off BBC America..lol

They've been showing ads for it as 'Coming Soon' to Sci-Fi channel. :)

Yeah it's going to be shown on the Sci-Fi channel in the US, if I remember correctly it will start at the same time as the 2nd series starts here.

Season 1 starts in the US on Friday, 17th March at 9pm on the Sci-Fi chhannel.

Season 2 starts in the UK in April, no firm date set as yet.

Season 2 starts in 'the spring' they keep saying.

My mom is a sci-fi channel addict so she will probably see that comercial soon enough. I might get her the box set anyway since I am there in 10 days or so.
