How many of you got your own dedicated server?
And what are you using them for? submitting galleries, running pay sites etc...

I got my own server @ cologroup.com

I have a dedicated server at Candid Hosting and happy with it.

The only way to go, in my opinion.

ITs a term some compnays use for a plan they have that only has 2-4 customers on a server.

just a word is all..nothing technical.

if you can afford it, get your own dedicated. You dont have to be at everyone elses mercy on your box who is getting slammed and slowing your sites down.

Hi Just got my own Dedicated server with CyberWurx, AWESOME!!!! I love their Customer Service. Chris is the BEST.

Now if I can just figure out what do to with my own dedicated Server :Graucho it looks so pretty in the corner

Now this I could believe.

i've got one... it costs me a good chunk of money as compared to my virtual accounts but also saves me loads of cash :) all of my traffic redirection scripts reside there; not to mention the mail, ftp, nntp, etc :)

We've got 8 right now .. and there is nothing I love more than paying my bandwidth bill each month ;)

Ahh... now I have to decide where to drop the next set of servers... ;)
