Where did you get it from .. Costco?

Mine plays every format under the sun, but I have to get it modified because it's not region-independant, so now I can't play all my North American dvds :1orglaugh

Pretty cool.

I got the Toshiba dvd player/burner that reads everything and writes to everything. That way I don't have to worry about +r or -r or +-rw or whatever.
It's basically TIVO without the fees. You just program it to record your tv shows...and if you use RAM discs, you can watch a program while you record it, pause it, and do everything else TIVO can do. Pretty sweet. Lately I've been watching more tv shows and movies on Windows Media Center on my computer though. |

Burning data onto discs is sooooo 1900's. This is what I use. Plays all formats straight from my computer to the HDTV.
