call the operator and ask them to patch you through to the number.

each country is different.

ldinternet 04-28-2002 03:23 PM

maybe the beeping is the russian ring tone? hmm...

I think you need to dial the international code for europe. USA / Canada you can just dial 1-number.

Dial the international number first (011) + country code + area code + local number

011-countrycode-areacode-localnumber

I'm not sure of the european country code, just check an SE for country codes :)

Hope that helps.

Adent.

Pipe dude....this is not an odd question....this stupid question...
hahaha no offense bro I couldn't resist....011 34 area code number.....that's for spain...011 31 area code number for Holland
011 44 area code number UK

Never called anywhere in europe before... cant find the fucking +7 key on my phone haha.... Try calling Canada, betcha its easier :Graucho

ServerGenius 04-28-2002 03:35 PM

The + means the prefix for international +31 in spain is 0031
In Canada it would be 011 31. On cell phone you could use the +
your provider will replace the + for the valid prefix...

So when using + no matter in which country you are you will
always get the correct prefix.... :winkwink:

Sorry but I gotta ask - is basic non-US geography taught in schools over there? Things may be moving that way but Europe isn't a country yet.

Here in Europe they at least teach us some geography.
Like that Mexico is a suburb to LA.

Something I hear on a regular basis - "England? That's near Britain isn't it?"
