I almost had a stroke when I logged into some of my sites, wtf is up with the interweb?

Almost a 70% drop this hour :helpme

Damn, I have been up so long I looked a the clock and thought it was 8 pm and his traffic observation made sense... well right up till you brought me back to reality.

And that justifies a 70% drop compared to normal levels on friday at 8am, how?

Yes I do.. Its not 8am for me though. I do check my traffic levels daily and compare them, it helps fixing issues that arise before they ger serious.

You peckerheads made me go check stats. Now I'm depressed. I've had slow traffic days but never anything so drastic that I can recall. WTF is going on?

I would be willing to bet this had something to do with all of those storms yesterday and last night. I am sitting right in the middle of one of the hardest hit areas and there are over 2000 people in my area alone still without electricity this morning. If you had looked at the weather alert map yesterday and up until wee hours of the morning when I last looked, over half of the USA was under a weather alert.

We noticed a huge dip in traffic yesterday and last night, it was horrible. Anytime you have severe weather that was this widespread, it is bound to hurt internet traffic to some degree. :)
