its cool no late charges but all the just out movies have a long wait, it sucks.

I never have a long wait. Must be your district distribution center.

I read somewhere that if you keep a very small queue and make sure all your movies are showing a wait, then their algorithm will bump you up so that you get movies before other people with larger queues.

thanks for the tip I have a large one but most of it is old movies.

They have a "throttling" algorythm that gives infrequent renters priority. Or penalizes people who rent a lot...depending on how you look at it.

I had this great video store, had classics ,art films and new ones but they went out of business. Might have to give my local blockbuster a try again yuck lol

I used it for a while, but rented a lot of movies so they started throttling my account which really sucked. Went from one day deliveries to three days.

Been using it for over 6 years now - LOVE IT. :) It's great for getting TV shows, foreign films, indys that most of the video stores don't have, etc. There have been problems here and there, but they are always quick to solve them.

Yeah, it's been getting slower lately. I think we've been flagged.

its awsome for me. im in michigan and their hub is in lansing (the capital of michigan...duh, not detroit), so i get stuff asap. i love it. i go through swings of few movies then tons of movies. never had a problem. most come in a day or so. very few have ever had a waiting tine.

i love netflix, but hate the throttling system. makes it very hard to get a new release. but living in a rural area, its a must as we don't have much of a video selection here.

I've only had 1 or 2 new releases get on long wait - even star wars movies were available pretty much right away.

Love Netflix, I been using it a couple of years. Screw Blockbuster and their late fees.:thefinger

I love Netflix too since I hate waiting in the looong blockbuster lines. I thought I had returned 2 movies but they never arrived back to them. They removed them from my account with no charge to me. I did end up finding them later and returned them, but the way they handled it was great.
