If money was no object and your goal was to have the most powerful video editing rig on the planet what would you go with?

Mac or PC?

depends on what format you are outputting to.

for film avid is the way to go.

For dvd or TV I prefer mac but I have a PC running premiere pro 1.5.1 strictly for encoding to wmv-hd

currently there is no way to output wmv-hd from a mac. Both cleaner and flip4mac say they can...but it never works properly.

Why not walk into a Mac store and ask that question? It is always fun to see the sales person turn into an instant cult member and say "why would you want to ever create a wmv" ? :1orglaugh :1orglaugh
