People in Europe, when you go to google.com does it redirect you to...
your countries page? .ca .de .uk etc? DO you have to select to search .com ?
It used to direct me. I tend to use co.uk because when I search for football on .com I get American Football.
If I set my browser language to dutch it will redirect me otherwise it won't...
It redirects me to .ca (canada) but i use my google toolbar instead and it runs the .com for results.

Yes - redirect to google.at
not in Europe but get the same thing in Canada, auto redirects to google.ca and have to click the button to go to Google.com
not a big hassle, and it makes sense for them to redirect you to your local search database since if you're in Spain searching for lawnmowers you probably don't want to hear about the great specials they have going on in Iowa right now! |
