Neil youngs movie..is this the new wave for musicians?

i saw him on the Daily show last night and it got me thinking.

He is unveiling 10 new songs in that movie.....im wondering if it gets enough of a draw....if done right this could be a new venue for musicians to make sure they get paid for their artistic talents.

is this going to be a new thing..it wouldnt be bad at all to go see a new record come out each time.

granted some bands wouldnt be able to muster the artistic talent

im not sure maybe rappers can copy everyone elses movies and then mix them together

Wow, that's great man!

A big fan of 80s and 70s music here. I can stick my ass on my chair for hours just listening to David Gates or Neil Young's songs. :thumbsup

I think it is. It's especially great for certain artists don't get the attention from MTV and pop radio. This movie is like the equivalant of him going on tour in every city and state in America. I'm sure if his new stuff is any good it will be a shot in the arm for sales.

Although, it's easier to make money from the movie than it is from record sales.

concert films have been around for a long time. The last waltz is a great one.
