Both, we had a dinner last night at a restaurant. Then I gave her a special gift.

I am sure they love the gift, but i did not give her a gift coz i had given a valuable gift to her this valentine and i could not really think about a good gift this time again...hehe

I bought my gf a rose! :)

We did not celebrate that occassion but I am going to treat my gf out for a dinner date next monday. :)

International women day is nonsense. There is nothing special being born as a woman. There should be an international men day in that case.
Mothers and Fathers days are something deserving celebration.

International women's day was invented in the soviet countries or so... i didn't know that it is really celebrated all over the world..hm..

from what I can read at un.org its american:

"In accordance with a declaration by the Socialist Party of America, the first National Woman's Day was observed across the United States on 28 February 1909."

women in my family don't care much about the occassion

well, it's hard to argue with official source :) although it was national and the date is a little bit different...

I would rather take the 1910 there as a starting point..
