FireFox help please

I want to transfer my Firefox bookmarks and stored passwords from my desktop to my laptop.

I am not really familiar with XP, and this is where I am having a problem.

On 98 I can go into Windows Explorer and find my Mozilla/Firefox folder and the profile folder. I figured I would just copy it over to my laptop. However, when I go to Windows Explorer on the laptop (XP) I see the Mozilla folder, but it says it is empty. I have FF on the laptop so I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

Check out the following link:

And if the folder seems to be empty (files are hidden under Windows Explorer), you may download the Total Commander, set the "Show system files / hidden files" option in its config options and easily do the backup.

for the amount of SEO you do... you couldn't google how to do that in the time it took you to write that post?

This is the app I use Baddog.

MozBackup

You can import or export everything on Firefox and Thunderbird.

to be honest, the primary issue I think I am having is getting the files in the Mozilla folder to show up
