MicroSofts new search - live.com is live - and it sucks
 

The results are good - but the interface sucks - I can work it out but most users just wont even bother. Its easier to stick with Google.

As usual MS have tried too hard - KISS!

I thought Start.com would have been better.

I'm confused, whats so hard? You go to live.com, type in a search in the box in the middle on top and go? Whats so hard?

For instance - The 1st thing I did was click the middle mouse button to open the link in a new tab - as always works in FireFox - not on Live.com.

The scroll bars are not standard - ok for you and me - but my mother for example wouldnt know what to do.

The scroll bars definitely suck... when I was playing with them Mozilla crashed! This is very unusual, I'd say Mozilla has crashed less than 10 times since I got this laptop 8 months ago.

Most people won't have to worry about the web interface when it's integrated into 'doze.

look at your google toolbar each time you scroll down while looking through the results. each scroll is a new frame/page/instance

What's the problem? Is it Bill Gates apathy. I have used it and it's great.

Also helps that I have got at least three #1 spots and at least 9 first page spots and I my search engine traffic from it is currently 50% of MSN and rising fast. Google sucks and I get approx. 2% of traffic.

Hey, my decision is based on logic and commonsense results. No emotion here because I don't hate Bill Gates. He deserves to be rich...he made it happen for you guys by making computers accessible. You don't have to like him or kiss his ass daily...just a bit of respect for the nerd.
