Epassporte tip - Email notification
 

Here's something some of you may not be aware of..

Inside your ePass account, click on 'email' (or go to https://mail.epassporte.com and enter your username:password there). Once inside, click on 'Options' and then 'Mail Forwarding Options'. Enter your main email address or the one you check most everyday and tick the 'Save local copy' box. Now everytime you receive a payment you're gonna get a copy of the transaction email on your main email address. No more having to login to ePass to see if you received payments. :thumbsup

I've been using this for some months now and find myself logging into my account only to check my balance or when I need to send money. This isn't an ePass feature btw, you can do this with any squirrel mail account.

I've been doing this for over a year now, really handy with gmail notifier.

I've did it one time.. I received about 10 spams emails a day ... but they are not showing up in ePass's mailbox.. but they were in my Outlook :(

Now all they need is a place where you can upload a pgp/gpg public key so the system can encrypt the msg :)

Yep use it all the time. Wish sponsors would include the program name in the payments info. though. I'll get like "BryanC just sent you $100" and be like wtf program is that?

btw heres a smokey tip for you.. and for those who havent heard of www.dodgeit.com

If the emails dont contain anything secure and cant reset anything you can use [email protected] and then check it from a browser withou aving to login like this http://dodgeit.com/run/checkmail?mailbox=anyname

this way you can leave that address as a favourite on your CELL phone browser and check your epass account really quick without having to login to epass or an email :)

i suggest a unique i.d. like [email protected]

dodgeit.com is a website that lets you have an email account to recieve mail only so it cant send anything , and you dont need to login so anyone can login to your email account as long as they know your address it was created for those websites that make you signup with an email before you can access them and such so spammers cant get your addy
