ePassporte - New Funding Options for EU Consumers

ePassporte Launches Convenient Funding Option for EU Consumers

Santa Monica, CA (March 5, 2006) ? ePassporte, N.V. (www.epassporte.com), the Internet?s leading provider of prepaid Visa cards, announced today the acceptance of ?DirectPay EU,? a new funding option for its European cardholders. Provided by 20000Charge, Inc. (www.2000charge.com), DirectPay EU enables over 200 million EU bank account holders to use the Internet for transferring funds.

DirectPay EU provides ePassporte cardholders the ability to move funds from their European bank accounts to their ePassporte accounts, using the bank transfer system. ?DirectPay EU simplifies loading for our cardholders in the European Union?, says Chris Mallick, Founder and CEO of ePassporte, who is focused on the commitment to continually increase the usefulness of ePassporte. Mallick continues, ?Adding Direct Pay EU brings real value because it incorporates a secure, well- known system that is preferred by Europeans.?

Since the EU bank transfer system is widely known and trusted by European consumers, DirectPay EU is valuable for merchants too. ?Having DirectPay EU available for loading ePassporte accounts helps merchants sell to millions of consumers who prefer alternative payment options when buying over the Internet,? adds Wolf Kring, CEO of 2000Charge.

Merchants wanting to leverage the Internet to reach consumers around the globe can expand payment processing options through the use of ePassporte. For more information please email [email protected].

nice - but wrong direction. as long as i can't send money from my epassporte account to my EU bank account, it's useless for business purposes.

thanks for listening...

and btw - Chris said in November that this will be possible and is in beta-testing...

I also rather want a feature of doing the reverse, Sending TO my eu bank account. And alltime transaction logs. thanks

danevans 03-07-2006 03:51 PM

Agree with others above, enabling a wire transaction from our epass to our bank acct. would be great and save us alot of hassle (so I'd use it even for a reasonably unreasonable fee :) )

SZNY 03-07-2006 04:23 PM

Sounds good, I really want to implement Epassporte in our program so affiliates can choice to get paid by Epassporte. Already signed up through your site but till today no response (:
