Adding BLOG plug-in with 9,000 html pages today! (need info)
 

Ok guys, I had an old forum that has about 9,000 unique pages, and I had my designers make an html version of this, making each thread into an html page, using the threads subject of the page title. I uploaded this to my main domain which has excellent SEO.. SHould this really crank my seo rankings?

Well, every page is unique, almost 6 years worth of content.. all messages are unique.. And I'm thinking it will take google a long time to spider the entire site..

yeah, i agree on the spam filters. google seeing 9k magically appearing pages may set off those filters.

Anyone else with insight?

Add a few a day and slowly trickle them in.

links and content should appear to grow naturally

stick with `hard to spider structure` and little promotion (maybe a link from home page in the begining), and with few months it will be in and booming like magick ;)

when you enter that many pages into the search engines so quickly you get MAJORLY penalized

The biggest one I saw on the internet, by accident was about 4 ft. long + 1 1/2 ft. in diameter...
