Dream Host..they any good?
 

Anybody host with DreamHost.com? What was/is your experience with them like?

Do a search, I asked the same thing a week ago or so.

Needless to say I am now signed with them for a year. Still not doing anything with the account, but I did like what I had heard.

Some of the folks said it is good for small projects and such, and that is all I need it for.

The price seems right, especially since most feedback I recieved was fairly good.

dreamhost is very nice...but I wouldnt leave www.HOSTHEAD.com for anything (ok...I would only move from there if someone pays me big money to move severs, and if I was sure that it wouldnt fuck my sites in any way...)

I signed up with them for a year as well, I think it's been a month - so far so good, didn't have any problems at all.

Hosts who offer HUGE discounts right off the bat scare me..... just my 2 cents.

Also, I would encourage you to do a search about them on WHT forums. There are some negative posts on there about them regarding adult hosting and sites that require higher resources (ie scripts).
