Ibill No Longer Processing Tangible Goods - Welcome to Netbilling

March 2, 2006

Dear iBill Client,

Our records indicate that you are currently using iBill?s Catalog Shopping Cart service. Please be advised that as of March 15, 2006 iBill will no longer be offering a Catalog Shopping Cart option for Complete or Processing Plus clients.

The last day to use the Catalog Shopping Cart service will be March 14, 2006.

On March 15, 2006 the catalog shopping cart will be completely disabled and clients will no longer be able to access the cart manager. All customers attempting purchases on the cart on March 15, 2006 will receive an error page.

iBill regrets any inconvenience caused by the termination of its Catalog Shopping Cart service.

Sincerely,
The iBill Team

I am posting this because we have received many calls today from Ibill merchants to setup accounts with us for processing of their mainstream and adult products sales. We can help and there will be a minimal bank application fee for those needing a merchant account and no Netbilling setup fees. Contact our sales department to get setup right away.

We offer a free shopping cart and are compatible with many 3rd party carts suchs as Oscommerce, Miva, X-cart, Quikstore and others.

Questions?

Thank you, Mitch Farber

You're probably typing this while dripping sweat all over the keyboard after doing your 20 minute victory dance. :)

Interesting... wasn't the whole shopping cart thing a result of a change in Mastercard regs?

amateurcanada 03-06-2006 07:37 PM

LOL poor iBill, I got a similar notice years ago when they first discontinued there shopping cart system! Here is a Canadian alternative I use for tangibles and memberships as well - great backup, saved a few CCBILL scrubbed denials for me:

www.2checkout.com is pretty good if you for some reason don't use Netbilling's Class A solution.

ExtremeBank_Adam 03-06-2006 09:28 PM

We use Netbilling for memberships and our shopping cart. Nothing but good things to say about them.

:thumbsup

Hi,

It depends on your volume need and how long you have been in biz. Shoot me an email with those answers and include your full name and phone # too please.

I think you are confusing that with third party processors (IPSPs) having to include other sites for a shopping experience when completing a sale. This has specifically to do with tangible goods sales.

Thank you, Mitch Farber

NO, we've decided not to come to Phoenix... at least not at the moment. Now that hotels are sold out, it's a 99% no go.

We've always been bad about waiting until the last minute to do things... we went yesterday and picked up an RV and are heading to Daytona for Bike Week... another last minute decision.

ExtremeBank_Adam - I think the Marriot right accross the street still has rooms if you are interested. It will be a great networking opp.

hardly. they process for bogus sites.

our experience with them is horrible. a domain owner (who registered 100 different domains) blatently copied our entire site and sold products using our registered trademark and never sent out the product to the customers they "sold" to. we found this out thanks to numerous complaints called in.

after months of informing them of blatent fraud, they still refused cease processing for this criminal even though we had all documentation in order.

finally, we got icann involved and had customers file complaints with their local and the fed govt both again the site owner and 2checkout. at that point, 2checkout decided to do something about the problem and ceased processing for their criminal client.

so i'd stay far away from 2checkout
