BUSINESS THREAD: I'm buying your Company - Details inside

Here's the deal.

I'm buying your company, if you meet the following criterias:

- Your company is an Inc. or LLC
- Your company is US or Canada based
- Your company exists at least for 1 year
- You don't use the company anymore

What you need to do:

- Post your offer in this thread ("I'm selling my Inc. to you for $123")
- Leave your contact information

If you meet the above criterias and make me a good offer, I will contact you to finalize the deal.

:drinkup So, go ahead fuckers

hmmm, the entire corp?

When you say "You don't use the company anymore" how long would it have to have been idle?

Theo 03-05-2006 05:24 PM

how are you gonna verify there are no hidden debts?

I'm basically just buying the company name, none of the assets.

I dunno how you call it in the USA, but here we call it a "mantle company"

It doesn't matter for how long it has been idle, it just should not have any assets or liabilities.

I need the most recent Balance Sheet + Income Statement, and what else my lawyer requires.

If it has "hidden debts" that are not on the Balance Sheet / Income Statement you are comitting fraud.

Yes. Must be incorporated and meet the criterias.

If you founded a corporation once, but never used it. That would be a perfect match.

This i'm afraid doesnt protect you fully.

I believe you can find totally idle companies from day 1. At least in some european countries is pretty common.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if your no longer using it, you would not be keeping up with it in regards to what you have to do to run a corp... so an INC or LLC would not really continue to be an INC or LLC when you stop using the company.

Or am I wrong?

Yes...

especially for people from canada... cause when you incorporate a company in the states from canada... u have to wait like 6-8 weeks for your business TAX ID... but if you're an american citizen they'll give it to you over the phone...

shuki 03-05-2006 05:52 PM

So you are looking for shelf corps?

Technically you are correct, but there are ways around that.

Ah, makes sense. They do have pre-made corps ready for sale at some places online... search it out.
