Recommended server for 100k uniques/day but very small requests.
 

I'm thinking of picking up a dedicated server but I'm not sure what type hardware I should be focusing on for the job. It'll be getting about 100k uniques a day but the website is extermely small. A 15k html file with maybe 1 small image on it and no external scripts running other than a simple 404 redirect.

I'm thinking that a typical celeron 2.0ghz 512 ram ide HD should be able to do the job. What do you think?

100k uniques on a celeron isnt really a good idea.

I would go with alteast 2 and round-robin the two.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but as long as there are no scripts being opperated then couldn't a P2 serve static pages just as good?
