Vbulletin question: EMail on new topics/replies
 

I am currently using simplemachines, but I wanna upgrade to vbulletin.

However, there is one feature I love in simplemachines. (there are more btw:)) That when person A post a topic, he gets notified by email when someone replies in his topic.

Also when person B replies, and after B another peson replies A AND B do get an email etc.

I know that users can turn this option ON in vbulletin, but is it possible to set this on on DEFAULT?

I'm pretty sure there is. I haven't tried on my own boards, but there is a board I'm a member of that has this by default.. it could be an add-on/hack so you might want to check vbulletin.org

Why did you choose invision above vbulletin?

You can set thread subscriptions by default, yes. Also whether you want an immediate email, daily or weekly summaries.
