The black one. I don't normally wear shirts with logos, but it was paint ball night and I had a jacket on over it that I took off because of all the paint spots lol.

KRL 03-05-2006 09:02 AM

When you go out and about its more fun to wear the Chinese version.

EdgeXXX 03-05-2006 09:08 AM

Unfortunately, there probably wouldn't be any legal grounds for a lawsuit. More than likely they (Applebees) reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and for any reason that they deem fit...

I agree. Now if they'd refused to serve me because of a G.W.B. shirt I could sue the shit out of them.

candyflip 03-05-2006 09:16 AM

I ate at Applebee's last week wearing my GFY sweatshirt.

Looks like it's a selective policy. :1orglaugh

UH OH! Calling a GFY shirt........ "stupid"? You are banned.

Young 03-05-2006 10:15 AM

Ya that kind of sucks. Public accomodation laws only prevent discrimination based on race, gender, etc.

Not many actual rules on this board but you broke the one that's often enforced.

4. GFY Haters... If you are a GFY Hater, don't go away mad, just go away. You want to hate on GFY, go do it somewhere else. Plain and simple

jimthefiend 03-05-2006 10:23 AM

Demon you are a full fledged idiot.

But anyway, anyone interested in this sort of issue should google "Lorrie Heasley".

The Demon 03-05-2006 10:23 AM

I wasn't hating on GFY you twit. Do you understand about a right place and a right time to do things? I don't mind the forum but if you're going to wear a stupid shirt like that in public, you deserve to get kicked out.

Jim who's the idiot, me or the moron who got kicked out wearing the shirt?

I don't think he's hating on GFY by calling a GFY shirt tacky.

I mean I drink Jack & Coke and put Penzoil in my car but you won't catch me with a t-shirt of any of the 3. Not even at my gym while working out ...you can forget about wearing one out in public.

The dumbfucks offended by words. I wear my hoodie out often.

The difference being the Airline could argue that the T-Shirt was offensive enough to cause a safety concern in the air.

Again....public accomodations do not protect discrimination based on clothing. It's the same reason that 80% of nightclubs DO NOT accept people wearing Sneakers. You have no case.:2 cents:

Imagine the amount of hits that GFY would get a day if we ever saw

Jim vs. Applebees

Go file a complaint at your town/city hall, see a lawyer then issue a press release. Sit back and field the calls :)

That's exactly why I WOULDNT do it, even IF I thought I had grounds; which I don't.

There is an old Supreme court case from the sixties. It inolved clothing and the right to physically defend oneself fom offensive slogans or words on clothing. They basically ruled that certain words or slogans justify physical retaliation...so, you are technically correct.

As an individual, I could care less about what people do or do not wear. As a parent, clothing with clearly offensive language on it worn in public causes all kinds of problems. If you are headed out to an alternative night club with a GFY shirt on, no problem. But, if you are going to McDonalds, or Applbees in this case, you should expect a number of people to object. The fact that someone would be surprised by this is the truly hysterical or sad obsevation to be made.

MerlinK 03-05-2006 10:39 AM

jim,

haha, which applebees in indiana? the one in broadripple?

jimthefiend 03-05-2006 10:41 AM

Whitey, idiot punk rockers with 47 lbs of metal in their faces offend me. Should they not be allowed to frequent public places?
