do i have an email virus?!
 

i keep getting bull shit emails that say my message couldn't reach its recipient, and i know that i didn't send any messages to these recipients. wtf is up?

i never sent anything to [email protected], and i don't even know who [email protected] is.

i have anti virus, and i've updated and scanned... no viruses...

do you think that the virus is on someone else's computer and faking the origin of the emails???

Hell yes that's what they are doing. I had the same thing going on. I got an email from [email protected] yesterday, my husband has that email so here I go flying like a wild fool in there and he has no virus......... I come back in here and look at the header and the damn thing came from someone in flippin Brazil somewhere, but it LOOKED like the virus came from his email addy.

I also ran all the scanners and the program that someone here told me to run, and no sign of a virus anywhere............. so chances are you are ok. For the record, that is an exact email I have gotten more than a few times.

I've been getting some stuff like that too, and a few each day offering me immunity from Klez. I really do need to update my virii software though

excellent Tam, glad to know what's going on. i'm surprised that there's not a thread on this already. i heard nothing about it until it hit me.
