I'm convinced someone is reading my mind

I'm convinced someone is reading my mind .. I invented the new micosoft live view thing.. http://preview.local.live.com/ about 8 years ago..

So i also know the next step :) when i invented this sytem i devised a theory of a rotating camera mounted on a vehicle that would rotate 360 degress taking snapshots , recording the gps location on each picture so it could be easily re-mapped later..

My system was geared towards a cities tourist board though , but it allowed for commercial advertising by offering "hotspots" , so if a business wanted to offer a "hotspot" they pay and when a user passes by your busniess you could go right into the business and get a 360 degree virtual tour of the business, perhaps even being offered online services.

I notice they only have a few cities mapped in u.s.a. . Anyone interested in putting a plan together for a strategy do do this in canada.. I know what your thinking " overwhelming" but really it isn't . It would be a huge project but not impossible.. the first one in with the best product wins..

-------------

Google video also "sort of" stole a great idea i posted on gfy about a year ago. And i still think someone could make great money offering a service like it..

"pay-per-view" "do-it-yourself" videos.. you offer a system thru drm where you let users upload videos and then get paid for promoting them..basically a "do it yourself" video site where you can learn to do anything on video for a very cheap cost like $1 to learn how to install memory in a laptop $1 to learn how to cook a lobster . etc the promotion is done by the people . so if you know how to bake pot brownies , you make a video , upload it and make money when people view it.. so you post the video and promote it to make your money . the company just takes a cut..

:thumbsup

And the FBI scanned your brain and got those thoughts, and then sold them to google.

They've got laser devices they can point at windows in a building to hear everything being said inside an office.

We put up a myspacish site several months before myspace. :1orglaugh

Edit: At one point they even had some of my text used almost word for word. Very damn eerie.

I share your pain my friend.

I've had a few movie ideas seem to be stolen from me... I can't make the links. But oddly enough I talk to some producers about a movie idea I have, and about 1-2 years later, I see it come out in the theaters...

Damn you! We actually put it up to get some yummy aol traffic. We pitched it to the aolers as a way to share pictures easily instead of the lame ass email email email whenever they traded. It had another catch to it that I won't mention because nobody does it yet but the damn thing took off like a storm. :1orglaugh

there are a few sites that do parts of my idea , but none that do it like that. theres self help sites , and self help video sites but none that offer a full range of do-it-yourself video created by the users themselves.. the beauty of it is you wouldnt even need to promote it.. the people promote it themselves.. like when you see people have "guitar lessons" on a signboard , you could have "guitar lessons $5 at learnvideos.com/larryp " upload a video and make bank

everyone wins , the person gets to learn guitar for way cheaper and the guy selling lessons gets to offer his services to alot more people.. like disabled people etc.. and make way more money

and theres no need to limit how many people teach the same thing.. it would all be in who you like to watch , and the users would rank the videos according to how helpfull they are..

like lets say i want to make pot brownies , i could learn by video in a few minutes for $1 and im sure 1000 other people would also want to learn to make pot brownies. so they guy with the best recipe will make $1000 for a short video on making dope brownies.. even better get a chick to do it topless !!

SmokeyTheBear 03-06-2006 12:43 AM

think of all the simple things you wanted to learn quick , but didnt have the time to read about , a visual demonstration is required. For a few dollars it would be well worth your while.. like simple auto mechanics.. changing an alternator , headlights , tire etc.. women would eat that shit up.. especially if ti was cheap.. like $1. manuals cost big bucks and still arent as good as a video.. a step by step video for car mechanics is like gold. Theres plenty of times i wish i could have had this service myself.
